DVD: Patti Smith Live!

In 2009, writer, poet and punk rock star Patti Smith flew to Houston and donated a performance to Voices Breaking Boundaries. She read from her prize-winning memoir, Just Kids, and performed many much-loved songs including Because the Night and My Blakean Years (for which she improvised a verse about her Houston visit), and answered questions from the audience.

Thanks to documentary artists (Yunuen Perez Vertti and Faroukh Virani) who collaborate with VBB, Patti Smith’s 2010 Houston performance is now available on DVD for just $15 (+$3 shipping).
