On April 14, 2012, Voices Breaking Boundaries (VBB) will hold our annual Valiente fundraiser, highlighting voices of struggle from the Houston and Karachi, Pakistan, in preparation for our May 2012 living room art production, Women Under Siege. Held at the West End home of Jack and Ellen Hart, this year's Valiente fundraiser is an opportunity for YOU to support VBB and help us continue to fulfill our mission.
This past year has seen us make great strides with our artistic programming. At this past year's Art Car Parade our art car Revolution, was awarded the Orange Show’s first prize for Free Speech. Our living room art productions recently received funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, and we began construction on an interactive website that will allow our LRA productions to be experienced throughout the globe. Our East End Live Art shows have been drawing standing room only crowds. And VBB's teacher and student educational workshops have just kicked off for the spring and have already received unprecedented attention from local educators.
